HPCET 2025 registrations: Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has opened applications for its different degrees, including BTech, MSc, and MBA programs, via the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2025. Eligible individuals should complete the application form on the official website, himtu.ac.in.
The institution will stop HPCET 2025 registration on April 18, 2025, and no applications will be accepted after that date.
The HPTU will administer the HPCET 2025 exam on May 10 and 11. The exam will last three hours and fifteen minutes and will be administered using pen and paper. Applicants will have to solve 150 objective multiple-choice questions in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

HPCET 2025 Registrations: Eligibility criteria, application fee
Applicants must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution, with Physics and Mathematics as essential subjects, as well as one of the technical vocational courses of chemistry, biotechnology, or biology. Candidates should have scored at least 45% in the general category and 40% in the reserved category.
The HPCET 2025 application fee is Rs 800 for applicants from scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), and below the poverty line (BLP). The registration fee for other categories of students is Rs 1600.
HPCET 2025 Application Form: How to submit it?
To apply HPCET 2025, applicants can follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Visit the official website of HPCET 2025 at himtu.ac.in.
Step 2: On the home page, click on the registration link.
Step 3: Now, fill in the necessary details such as name, email ID, date of birth and mobile number.
Step 4: After registration, the user ID and password will be sent to the applicant.
Step 5: Next, candidates login using ID and password and fill in other applicable details such as personal, academic and contact information.
Step 6: Now, upload the scanned photographs and signatures as required.
Step 7: Pay the application fee through using the means such as UPI, net banking, credit, or debit.
