IB Acio Exam 2024: Selection process

To begin the selection process, applicants must participate in Tier I at one of the five approved centres, which they can pick from a list of five cities. It is critical to note that each wrong answer will result in a 14-point deduction. No marks will be granted if a question is left unanswered. Furthermore, questions marked "Mark for Review" by applicants will not be considered throughout the grading process. This guarantees that all participants receive a fair and consistent evaluation.

To guarantee a high-quality selection and to attract the most competent candidates, cut-off marks (out of 100) for the Tier-I test have been created. The following are the cut-off points:

- UR (Unreserved): 35

- OBC (Other Backward Classes): 34

- SC/ST (Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe): 33

- EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 35

It should be noted that all Ex-servicemen will be classified according to their various categories, which include UR, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS, assuring a fair evaluation procedure for each group.

Candidates will be selected for Tier-II depending on their performance in the Tier-I test and the normalization of scores. Shortlisting will be done at a ratio of 10 times the number of openings if the candidate scores higher than the minimal cut-off. This procedure guarantees that applicants who satisfy the specified criteria move to the next stage of the selection process.
