IBPS PO, SO Registration Deadline Extended: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has extended the application deadline for the Probationary Officer (PO) and Specialist Officer (SO) examination 2026. Eligible candidates can now submit their IBPS application form until July 26, 2026, through the official website at ibps.in. Earlier, the last date to submit the application form and pay the registration fee was July 21, 2026. The extension has provided additional time to eligible candidates to apply for a total of 7,460 vacancies in participating public sector banks. PO has 6,715 vacancies, while 745 vacancies are for Specialist Officers.

IBPS PO, SO Registration Fee 2026
The registration fee varies depending on the candidates’ categories. Those from the General and other applicable categories have to pay Rs 850, while candidates from SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) categories need to pay Rs 175. The fee is non-refundable and must be paid using the online payment modes such as debit/credit/UPI/internet banking, etc. Only after successful payment, the application form will be processed.
