ICAI CA 2024 Exam Date: The Delhi High Court has rejected postponing the Chartered Accountants (CA) Inter and Final exams 2024. The court has rejected a plea by several candidates requesting a postponement of the exams from May to June due to the Lok Sabha elections.
Justice C Hari Shankar stated that the mere possibility of candidates encountering difficulties in taking the exam cannot justify derailing the examination process, which is expected to be undertaken by approximately 4.26 lakh aspirants.
“This court is surprised that such a request has been made," the court said, as reported by LiveLaw.
According to media reports, the petitioners had stressed concerns regarding transportation and other challenges arising from the upcoming General Elections. They also cited the possible impact of loudspeaker usage during campaigning on candidates' performance. In response, the Bench suggested that candidates facing difficulties with the exams could choose not to participate in them.

ICAI CA 2024 Exam Dates
The ICAI had previously rescheduled the dates for the CA Inter and Final examinations due to the Lok Sabha Elections. The CA Inter Group I exams are scheduled for May 3, 5, and 9, 2024, while Group II exams will held on May 11, 15, and 17, 2024. Similarly, CA Final Group I exams are scheduled for May 2, 4, and 8, 2024, with the Group II exam set for May 10, 14, and 16, 2024. Moreover, the International Taxation - Assessment Test will take place on May 14 and 16, 2024.
