ICAI Exams Postponed: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed the CA Final and Intermediate examinations that were scheduled for September 3 and 4, 2025 at several centres in Punjab and Jammu City. The updated schedule for the examination will be soon announced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on their official website, students must keep a close check on the ICAI’s website to stay updated with the latest information. The announcement was made public on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 as a partial modification to the Institute’s earlier notification dated 30th May 2025.

ICAI Exams Postponed: 

The examination postponement follows reports of heavy rainfall and flooding in several parts of Punjab and Jammu, which disrupted normal operations and created difficulties for conducting the ICAI CA Final and Intermediate Examination. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India clarified that this decision is limited to specific centres only, and examinations in other regions or centres will continue as per the released schedule.

Why were the exams postponed?

The Final and Intermediate Examination for Chartered Accountancy has been postponed by the ICAI in several areas of Punjab and Jammu because of severe rainfall and floods like situations, conducting examination is not an easy task.

ICAI Exam Revised Dates:

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has not announced new dates for the affected examinations, however, it should be notified that any updates will be published on the Institute’s official website, www.icai.org. The students must note that all other details communicated in the May 30, 2025 notification remain unchanged.

The students are advised to not panic and prepare well for the examination. The new examination dates will be soon released by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on their official website, frequently go through it also.
