This year’s examination cycle was comprehensive, covering a wide array of subjects across both classes. The ICSE (Class 10) examinations for 2026 were conducted between February 17 and March 30, while the ISC (Class 12) examinations began on February 12 and concluded on April 6, 2026. Following the completion of the evaluation process, the board has encouraged candidates to remain calm and confident.
Why are ICSE and ISC results expected by April 30?
The speculation regarding an April 30 release is fueled by both official hints and previous trends. On April 21, CISCE officials debunked a fake notice while simultaneously indicating that the 2026 results might arrive earlier than in previous years. Historically, results have been declared between April 30 and May 6. Given that the evaluation concluded on schedule, many experts believe the board is aiming for a month-end release to facilitate timely college admissions for Class 12 students.
How to download the ICSE and ISC scorecards?
Students can retrieve their marksheets through the official websites: cisce.org and results.cisce.org. Once the link is active, candidates must select their respective course (ICSE or ISC) and enter their unique UID and Index Number. It is essential to ensure that the captcha code is entered correctly to view the detailed subject-wise marks. Additionally, students can use the SMS service by typing "ICSE [Unique ID]" or "ISC [Unique ID]" and sending it to 09248082883.
What do the previous year's statistics show?
Looking at 2025, the performance of CISCE students was exceptionally high. A total of 2,52,557 students appeared for the Class 10 exams with a pass percentage of 99.35 per cent, while 99,555 candidates appeared for Class 12 with a 99.34 per cent pass rate. This year, with nearly 3.5 lakh students collectively appearing, the board expects to maintain this high standard of academic excellence across its affiliated schools in India and abroad.
Is the DigiLocker marksheet legally valid?
Yes, the digital marksheet issued via DigiLocker is legally valid under the IT Act and is accepted for admission purposes by most higher education institutions. This allows students to proceed with their application processes immediately without waiting for the physical hardcopy from their schools.
Students are advised to keep their provisional printouts safe until the original documents are distributed by their respective school principals.
