IGNOU has announced the call for applications for its Best Innovation Awards 2024, inviting submissions from students who have made significant contributions through innovative projects across various fields. The competition, organised by the National Centre for Innovation in Distance Education (NCIDE), is open to all registered IGNOU students, and entries must be submitted in a prescribed format.

Prizes and Recognition

The top three innovators will receive certificates, trophies, and cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs 7,000, and Rs 5,000, respectively. Winners will be invited to the IGNOU headquarters in Delhi to receive their awards. This prestigious annual award, which began in 2018, celebrates the top student innovators of the year.

Submission Guidelines

- Applications must be submitted exclusively via email to ncide@ignou.ac.in.
- Hard copies or scanned handwritten submissions will not be accepted by the university.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to present their innovations, detailing their development process and functionality, on a virtual platform.

Announcement of Results

Once the results are announced, winners will be notified individually, and the results will also be posted on the official IGNOU website. No separate communication will be sent to other participants.
