IIT JAM 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has extended the deadline for the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2025 enrollment to October 18. Applicants who have not yet applied for IIT JAM 2025 can do so on the official website, jam2025.iitd.ac.in.
According to the qualifying criteria, students who have earned an undergraduate degree or are in their final year of an undergraduate program are eligible for the PG entrance exam. There is no age limit to apply for the exam, and international nationals with Indian degrees may also apply.
The application cost for a single test paper is Rs 900 for applicants belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories, as well as female candidates. All other students will have to deposit Rs 1,800.

JAM 2025 will be held on February 2, 2025, for admission to postgraduate studies at the IITs. The exam will be administered as a computer-based test (CBT) for seven test papers: biotechnology (BT), chemistry (CY), economics (EN), geology (GG), mathematics (MA), mathematical statistics (MS), and physics. The test will be administered in two shifts: the morning session from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the afternoon session from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
JAM 2025: Participating institutes
JAM scores will be used to fill 3,000 seats in 89 postgraduate programs offered by 22 IITs during the academic year 2025-26. The institutes that will admit students through JAM 2025 are listed below:
