Jamia Millia Islamia Admission: The admission for the Distance and Online Programmes for the academic session 2025 to 2026 has been officially commenced by the Jamia Millia Islamia on their official website. Those students who are interested can apply through the official website at jmi.ucanapply.com. The students must apply within the deadline that is August 21, 2025.

Jamia Millia Islamia Admission: UG / PG Courses

The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has commenced its admissions for its Distance and Online Programmes for the academic session 2025 to 2026. The university offers a wide range of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, and advanced diploma courses through its Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). 

Earlier last week, the Jamia Millia Islamia University released the prospectus by Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof Mazhar Asif, and Registrar Prof Md Mahtab Alam Rizvi, in the presence of CDOE Dean Prof M Moshahid Alam Rizvi and members of the Prospectus Committee, according to the official notification published by the JMI. 

In 2025,  the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) admission cycle includes various postgraduate degrees in Hindi, Urdu, English, Education, Geography, History, Islamic Studies, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, Commerce, MBA, and MA in Human Resource Management.

Undergraduate courses at Jamia Millia Islamia include BEd, BA, BCom, BBA and BCIBF. CDOE also offers postgraduate diplomas in Guidance and Counselling and Geoinformatics with several advanced diplomas in seven specialised areas, namely — Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Educational Media Production,  Public Policy and Governance, International Relations and Global Governance, Mass Media in Hindi, Mass Media in Urdu, and Taxation.

Steps to apply for Jamia Millia Islamia for Distance & Online Courses:

Step 1. Visit the official website: Students must visit the official website for Jamia Millia Islamia's Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). 

Step 2. Register: Create a user account on the portal by providing basic details like name, email, and phone number. 

Step 3. Fill the application form: Students must complete the online application form with accurate personal, academic, and contact details in the designated fields. 

Step 4. Upload documents: Students must scan and upload the necessary documents, including educational certificates, passport-sized photos, and ID proof. 

Step 5. Pay the fee: Students must pay the online payment through the available methods like debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI. 

Step 6. Submit and download: After successful submission of the admission application form, download the application form for future reference.
