JEE Advanced 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur published the registration dates for the Joint Entrance Examination - Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2025 exam today, December 21. According to the timetable, the JEE Advanced 2025 registration session will open on April 23 at 10 a.m. Eligible students can fill out the JEE Advanced 2025 registration form on the official website of JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in.
The JEE Advanced 2025 registration link will be open on the official website until May 2. The deadline for registered applicants to submit their JEE Advanced 2025 fees is May 5, 2025.
The JEE Advanced 2025 hall tickets will be accessible to download starting Sunday, May 11, 2025. To download the JEE Advanced Admit Card 2025, applicants must provide their login credentials, which include their registration number and date of birth.
JEE Advanced 2025: Exam Date
The JEE Advanced 2025 test will take place on May 18, 2025. The entrance test for admission to IITs will consist of two papers: paper one and paper two. The duration of JEE Advanced 2025 will be three hours.
The JEE Advanced 2025 test will be held in two sessions. Paper 1 will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and paper 2 will be done from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
“The JEE (Advanced) 2025 will be conducted on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The examination will consist of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. Appearing in both the papers is compulsory,” the official notice read.
JEE Advanced 2025: Eligibility Criteria
In recent years, the Joint Admission Board (JAB) reinstated the original JEE Advanced 2025 eligibility requirements and limited the number of attempts to two. The board had already upped the number of attempts to three. Yet, JEE Advanced's third attempt failed due to competing obligations.
An appeal has been filed in the Supreme Court for JEE Advanced 3rd try, with the next hearing slated for January 6, 2025. 22 applicants have filed a complaint against the JAB for increasing the number of attempts in the next JEE Advanced exam from two to three, and then back to two.
IIT Kanpur has already issued the JEE Advanced Curriculum 2025 and the JEE Advanced 2025 information brochure, which includes eligibility requirements, application fees, exam patterns, and marking schemes, on its official website.
Those who pass the JEE Main 2025 exam and rank among the top 2,50,000 in the BE/BTech paper will be qualified for the JEE Advanced exam. Applicant should be born on or after October 1, 2000. Apart from that, SC, ST, and PwD candidates are offered a five-year age relaxation.
