JEE Main Correction Window 2024: The correction window for the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main 2024) will open today, December 6. Candidates who completed their JEE Main application form for the January session before the deadline will be permitted to make adjustments on the official website of JEE Main at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
The deadline to make changes to the JEE Main registration form 2024 is December 8. To make changes to the form, candidates must log in to the JEE official website using the credentials they received during the application process. For the first time, the NTA offers a variety of login choices, including Digilocker, Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID), passport number, non-passport number, PAN card, and Aadhaar number.
The first session of the JEE Main 2024 will be held from January 24 to February 1 at various exam centres across the country and abroad.
JEE Main 2024 Correction Window: What can be edited?
The NTA recently defined the adjustments permitted in the JEE main 2024 application form. Candidates can review the list of permissible changes throughout the two-day edit period.
1. Personal details: Spelling mistake in name, parent's name.
2. Educational qualification details: Year of passing, school and mark details.
3. Number of sessions: During the adjustment period, candidates can add or remove session 2.
4. Interchanging of sessions: Candidates will not be permitted to switch sessions.
5. Number of papers: Add or remove paper - paper 1, paper 2A or paper 2B. If applicable, an additional cost should be paid.
6. Exam Centre: Cannot be changed
7. Category: Will be allowed to modify. Those who switch from reserved to general must pay the additional fees.
8. Documents: Ensure that the uploaded photograph and signature are in the proper format.
