JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency has started the online registration process for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main - January 2025 Session 1. The last date to apply will be November 22, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the JEE Main 2025 at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
JEE Main 2025 Exam Date:
The first session of the JEE exam is scheduled for January 22 to January 31, 2025. Exam cities will be announced in the first week of January, and admit cards will be available three days before the exam date. The results for the JEE Main first session are expected by February 12, 2025.
JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern:
For Paper 1 and Part I of Paper 2, Section A comprises Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), while Section B requires answers to be filled in as numerical values. Negative marking is applied for incorrect answers in both sections.
The Engineering papers included 90 questions: 20 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Section A, and 10 from each subject in Section B, where candidates were required to attempt five questions per subject.
This year, the exam will be available in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu

JEE Main 2025: Registration Guidelines
- All applications must be submitted online at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
- Candidates are advised to follow the instructions provided in the information bulletin and on the NTA website, as failure to do so may lead to disqualification.
- Each candidate is allowed to submit only one application, and strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against those submitting multiple forms.
- The email address and mobile number provided in the application form should belong to the candidate or their parents/guardians, as all communication from NTA will be sent via email or SMS to the registered contact details.
