Scheduled Caste (SC) – 15 per cent of seats in every course.

Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 7.5 per cent of seats in every course.

Persons with Disability (PwD) – 5 per cent seats in each of the following categories: GENERAL, GEN-EWS, OBCNCL, SC, and ST.

Candidates with a minimum of 40 per cent impairment, regardless of the nature of their disability, are eligible for benefits under the PwD category.

- As many as 12 lakh candidates took the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 exam.
