JNU UG Merit List 2023: The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is expected to announce the first merit list for admission into the (UG) Undergraduate programmes on August 8. The university ended the admission process for UG programmes on August 2. Once released candidates will be able to download their JNU UG merit list 2023 at jnuee.jnu.ac.in.

According to the schedule, the Pre-enrolment registration and payment process with the blocking of seats of the first list will commence from August 8 to August 11, 2023. As per the media reports, the CUET UG scores will be acceptable for admission into all courses offered by the JNU including BA (Hons) in foreign languages, integrated BSc-MSc programme in Ayurveda, Biology, and all its certificate of proficiency courses.

The University is scheduled to tentatively release the second merit list on August 16, 2023. In the case of bunching in the Under Graduate and COP programs, the merit will be determined based on the higher marks secured in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted by NTA. If necessary, in cases of a tie, priority will be given to the marks obtained in the qualifying 10+2 examination. Further, if a tie persists, the candidate(s) with higher marks in the 10th Class will be considered. Moreover, candidates whose results have been declared will be given preference over those whose results are pending.

Release of third lists and supernumerary seats for admissions– August 22, 2023

Physical verification of admission registration of selected candidates

For B.A. (Hons.)-- August 29 to 30, 2023

For Certificate of Proficiency (COP)-- August 31, 2023

Release of final list after registration, wherever considered necessary– September 7, 2023

Pre-enrolment registration and payment of fee with blocking of seats of Final list– September 7 to 8, 2023

Physical verification of Admission/Registration for Final List of selected candidates– September 11 to 12, 2023

Deadline for Admission/Registration– September 15, 2023
