Joint CSIR UGC NET 2023 Cut-Off, Ranks Released; Check Complete List Here

JE Education Desk: The ranks and cut-off for the Joint CSIR University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) in December 2022 and June 2023 have been made public. On July 25, 2023, NTA released the CSIR UGC NET results. The subject-specific cut-off scores for the CSIR UGC NET 2023 are released. The CSIR UGC NET cut-off has been made available for junior research fellowships (JRF), lectureships, assistant professorships, and physical, mathematics, and life sciences.

The results for the biological science subject have been announced based on the percentile cut-off as mentioned after the raw marks acquired were normalized into an NTA score and percentile.

There is no distinct cut-off for parts A, B, and C, the governing body stated when announcing the CSIR UGC NET 2023 cut-off. To compile a merit list, the total score across all components is taken into account.

Results of the Joint CSIR-UGC NET for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship/Assistant Professor (NET) Dec-22/June-2023 Examination will be released on July 29.

Only candidates with a bachelor's degree are eligible for fellowships. Those candidates are distributed between CSIR and UGC by the number of fellowships shared between the two organizations for each subject, except candidates with a bachelor's degree who are assigned to CSIR.

For fellowships, lectures, and associate professorships, there is a minimum benchmark of 33% for general, EWS, and OBC categories and 25% for SC, ST, and PwD categories.
