JE Education Desk: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has rescheduled the JoSAA counselling 2023. According to the new schedule, now candidates can respond to the query against round 6 till tomorrow, July 29 earlier, it was July 28. Applicants can respond to queries by visiting the official website of JoSAA at josaa.nic.in.
The authority has only changed one date in the schedule as the rest of the dates are the same. JoSAA counselling 2023 round 6 seat allocation result has already been released on July 27. The last date to report to the allotted institutes/colleges is today, July 28. Candidates are informed that they cannot withdraw from the allotted seat after the last round of JoSAA counselling.
JoSAA Counselling 2023: What's PAF?
Candidates are informed that they have to pay the Partial Admission Fee (PAF) between July 29 to July 31, 2023. Candidates must pay a non-refundable PAF of Rs 16,000 for those who are SC, ST, GEN-PwD, GEN-EWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD, or ST-PwD candidates, and Rs 36,000 for everyone else. Applicants are informed that this PAF will be adjusted in the admission fee but if the payment is not made then it can lead to the rejection of the seat offered.

In the official brochure, JoSAA said, “If a candidate fails to pay PAF (Please see Annexure 3 for the timeline), the candidate will forfeit the provisionally allotted seat. The vacant seat thus created will be made available to the candidates in CSAB 2023 special rounds. In such cases, the Seat Acceptance Fee paid shall be refunded to these candidates, after deducting a processing fee of Rs. 7000.”
JoSAA Counselling 2023: CSAB 2023 special round
The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has declared the CSAB 2023 special round schedule to fill the vacant seats. This process will start once the JoSAA counselling 2023 is completed. According to the schedule, the process will start on July 30. Eligible and interested applicants can apply for CSAB 2023 special round on the official website of CSAB at csab.nic.in from August 3.
