JE Education Desk: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) on Tuesday released the second mock seat allocation list for JoSAA Counselling 2023. Candidates who have qualified for the JEE Mains 2023 and JEE Advanced 2023 exams can check their seat allotment results at josaa.nic.in.

The reconciliation of data, verification, and validation of allocated seats for academic programmes under JoSAA 2023 will be finalised on June 29, following the generation of a list based on the choices filled in by candidates as of June 26, 2023. Candidates have until June 28 to complete their registration and choice.

The first round of the seat allocation list will be published on June 30, followed by subsequent rounds on July 6, July 12, July 16, July 21, and July 26, respectively. Candidates are advised to check the official website for the latest updates. 

The JoSAA Counselling process facilitates admissions to esteemed institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and various other participating institutes.

JoSAA Counselling 2023: Documents Required

- Class 10 and 12 mark sheet and passing certificate

- JEE Main rank card

- JEE Advanced rank card

- Caste certificate

- Income and assets certificate

- Domicile certificate (if required)

- Government-issued photo ID cards like Aadhaar card, driver’s license, PAN card, etc.

JoSAA Counselling 2023 Round 1: Important Dates

June 28, 2023: Last date to register

June 29, 2023: Date verification and validation of allocated seats

June 30, 2023: Round 1 Seat Allocation

June 30 to July 4, 2023: Online Reporting and Fee payment

July 5, 2023: Last date for responding to the query

Step 1: Go to the official website– josaa.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link JoSAA Counselling 2023 on the homepage
Step 3: Candidates have to register and then login
Step 4: Fill out the application form
Step 5: Upload the required documents
Step 6: Pay the required counselling fee, if any, and click on the submit button
