Cancel JSSC CGL 2024: The controversy surrounding the JSSC CGL 2024 (Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level) exam has intensified, with candidates throughout Jharkhand calling for the cancellation of this year's examination. Allegations of paper leaks and repeated questions have sparked outrage, leading to widespread protests and the #Cancel_JSSC_CGL trend on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter). The JSSC CGL exam was held on September 21 and 22, 2024.

Amid the widespread outcry, the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has come under intense scrutiny. Although the commission released an answer key for the exam, the final results have been delayed due to ongoing allegations. In response, the JSSC has given aspirants an opportunity to submit evidence supporting their claims.

On October 6, 2024, the commission invited complainants to present solid proof at the JSSC office in Ranchi. JSSC Secretary Sudhir Gupta emphasised that the investigation into the alleged irregularities is still in progress. The commission specifically requested original evidence, such as CDs, pen drives, and photographs, that reportedly contain the leaked material. However, previous submissions were either empty or incomplete, further delaying the investigation, as per the media reports.

In an official letter, the JSSC stated, "Complainants have been asked to submit the evidence of the complaints related to irregularities in the exam and its source along with an affidavit to the commission by October 7. If this is not done, the commission will take a final decision on the basis of the current evidence."

The notice also clarified that no affidavit verifying the authenticity of the photos and videos found on the submitted pen drives has been received, leaving the investigation incomplete due to a lack of substantial evidence.

How can we stay motivated when the system is broken? This is beyond unfair—this is a betrayal."

Another tweet highlighted the emotional toll on Jharkhand's youth, stating, "किसी भी राज्य या देश के लिए युवा शक्ति सबसे बड़ी शक्ति होती है लेकिन jssc के द्वारा झारखंड के युवाओं को पिछले 8 साल से मानसिक रूप से पीड़ा दी जा रही है जिससे की छात्रों के साथ साथ झारखंड की भी नुकसान हो रही है। Jssc cgl एग्जाम रद्द करना होगा।"
