KCET Counselling Dates 2025: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released a revised timetable for the second round of the counselling for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 on their official website. Those students who are participating in the second round of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 Counselling can check the revised dates at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
KCET Counselling Dates 2025: Counselling Process
This counselling process is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) and it covers admissions into undergraduate courses such as BE, BTech, BArch, BPharm, BSc (Nursing), and allied health science programmes and courses, including AYUSH, farm science, and paramedical streams.
The candidates who have been assigned seats under Choice-1 and Choice-2 will be required to make their seat acceptance payment before September 3, 2025. Those students who are opting for Choice-3 will be required to submit ₹10,000 caution deposit by the same date. The students must note all payments using the official KEA website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) counselling ensures a transparent, merit-based admission procedure. The counselling process involves:
1.Registration and document upload
2. Verification of documents
3. Option entry and locking of preferences
4. Seat allotment result announcement
5. Confirmation of seat by online fee payment
Once a seat is allotted to the candidate, he or she must complete the admission fee payment within the given period of deadline otherwise the seats might be cancelled by the authority.

KCET Counselling Dates 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Those students who want to participate in the counselling process must meet the eligibility criteria of minimum qualifying marks set by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
1. For General category students, the eligibility criteria is 45%
2. For SC/ST category students, the eligibility criteria is 40%
3. For OBC/EWS category students, the eligibility criteria is 40%
Those candidates who will be shortlisted in the counselling process will be required to present original documents during the process of verification.
About KCET 2025 Examination:
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 was conducted by the KEA on April 15, 16, and 17 across the state for those students who are seeking admissions into engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, architecture, and allied professional programmes.
