Kerala NMMS 2023-24 Registration: The deadline for registering for the Kerala National Means-Cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) test has been extended to November 8, 2023. Class 8 students interested in taking the Kerala NMMS scholarship exam for the academic year 2023-24 can register online on the official website of NMMS at nmmse.kerala.gov.in until 5 p.m.
According to the revised schedule, the deadline for verification of the school head's application is November 10 at 5 p.m. On December 7, 2023, the Kerala NMMS scholarship test 2023 will be held.
The examination will be held in English, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada. Students must select their preferred language when completing the online application.
Kerala NMMS 2023-24: Exam Pattern
The Kerala NMMS test 2023 will be divided into two 90-minute halves. Students with disabilities will be given more time to complete the questions. Part I will consist of the Mental Ability Test (MAT), while Part II will consist of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).
MAT: This segment will consist of 90 multiple-choice questions designed to assess mental ability. The questions will cover a wide range of topics, including detecting similarities, categorization, numerical sequences, pattern recognition, and hidden shapes.
SAT: The portion will include 35-point questions from social science and basic science, as well as 20-point questions from basic mathematics. The questions will be drawn from the Class 7 and 8 curricula.
Kerala NMMS 2023-24 Registration: Documents Required
During the Kerala NMMS registration procedure, students must upload the following documents.
- A certificate of income of not more than Rs 3.5 lakh acquired from the village office. The certificate should be uploaded in PDF format and no larger than 100 kb in size.
- Students from the SC and ST categories must provide their caste certificate.
- Students with at least 40% disability must file PwD certificates certified by the Medical Board.
- A passport-sized image taken within the last six months. The photo should be uploaded in jpg/jpeg format with 150 200 pixel resolution and a file size of 20 kb to 30 kb.
