According to the GSEB HSC class 12 science assessment rules, a student will have to secure a minimum of Grade 'D' in each subject to be considered qualified.

Last year, the girls performed better than the boys. The pass percentage of girls stood at 72.05 per cent, while for boys the pass percentage stood at 72 per cent.
