The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, will release the MHT CET 2026 BTech CAP Round 1 Provisional Seat Allotment Result today, August 2. Candidates who participated in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) counselling will be able to check their allotment status on the official counselling portal once the result is published.

Candidates who receive a seat allotment must complete the seat acceptance process and report to their allotted institute between August 3 and August 5, 2026. Those who are not allotted a seat or wish to participate in the next round can register for CAP Round 2 as per the counselling schedule.

How To Download MHT CET CAP Round 1 Allotment Result?

Candidates can follow these steps to download their provisional allotment letter:

1. Visit the official MHT CET counselling portal.

2. Click on the 'CAP Round 1 Provisional Allotment Result' link.

3. Log in using your Application ID and Password.

4. Your allotment result will appear on the screen.

5. Download and save the allotment letter for admission and reporting.

What After MHT CET CAP Round 1 Allotment?

Candidates allotted seats must accept their seat online and report to the respective institute with the required documents by the prescribed deadline. Failure to complete these formalities may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

Candidates who are dissatisfied with their allotted seat or do not receive one in CAP Round 1 can participate in CAP Round 2. The CET Cell will publish the list of vacant seats on August 6, followed by the option entry process from August 7 to August 9, 2026.
