MHT CET Merit List 2024: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will release the preliminary merit list 2024 for admission to BE and BTech courses for the academic year 2024-25. The facility to make grievances about necessary corrections in the data published in the initial merit list will be available on the official website, fe2024.mahacet.org, starting tomorrow and running until August 6.
Applications received after July 30 will only be evaluated for non-CAP seats, as will applications confirmed by the scrutiny centre after July 31.
These seats are allocated based on inter-se merit. A separate merit list will be shown to allocate seats. Applicants who submit their application forms through the MHT CET CAP portal before the due date will be issued a merit number. The MHT CET merit list will be generated using the state CET score, qualifying exam results, and other criteria.

How is the MHT CET merit list prepared?
The following approaches will be used to create a merit list for first-year engineering and technology BE, BTech, ME (Integrated), and MTech (Integrated) admissions.
* Higher marks or scores in mathematics at CET
* Higher marks or scores in physics at CET
* Higher marks or scores in chemistry at CET
* Higher percentage of marks in board or qualifying examinations for physics, mathematics and chemistry taken together
* Higher percentage of marks in the mathematics at HSC or Class 12 examination
* Higher percentage of marks in the physics at HSC or Class 12 exam
* Higher percentage of marks in aggregate at HSC or Class 12 exam
“If the marks in the qualifying examination are modified due to verification and the same is duly certified by the concerned Appropriate Authority or Board, the same shall be reported to the Competent Authority for admission through CAP or its designated representatives prior to 5 p.m. on the day of display of final merit list,” it said.
