Ministry of Jal Shakti Internship Programme: The Ministry of Jal Shakti (MoJS) on Tuesday announced an Internship Programme that allows short term exposure to "selected candidates" to be associated with its media/social media activities, along with a Rs 15,000 per month honorarium, an official said.

Under the programme, the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation (DoWR, RD and GR) seeks to engage students pursuing Graduate or Post Graduate Degrees or are Research Scholars enrolled in recognised University/Institution in the field of Mass Communication as interns.

Interested students can apply through the online form at https://mowr.nic.in/internship. The last date to apply for the internship is the 24th of next month.

Eligibility for Communication & Marketing Internships:

Students who have completed graduation in Mass Communication or Journalism or related fields, or students pursuing PG or Diploma in these fields (upon completion of graduation in Mass Communication or related fields) or MBA (Marketing) from a recognised college/university are eligible with the conditions mentioned in the guidelines.

DDWS Drives Digital Transformation in Rural Water Supply:

The Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS), Ministry of Jal Shakti, recently concluded discussions on enhancing rural water service delivery. They demonstrated an Upgraded Rural Piped Water Supply Schemes (RPWSS) module.

DDWS Secretary Ashok K. K. Meena stated this module will create a digital registry with unique IDs for all rural piped water schemes, enabling geo-tagging for improved monitoring and accountability. States and UTs are urged to complete RPWSS ID creation by November 2025 for comprehensive data coverage
