This year, there was a notable increase in the pass percentage for class 5 exams, with 91.53 per cent of students passing. This marks an improvement from last year's 82.27 per cent and also surpasses the 2022 figure of 90.01 per cent.

In the 5th grade, boys achieved a pass percentage of 51.70 per cent, while girls attained 48.30 per cent. Similarly, in the 8th grade, boys had a pass percentage of 51.60 per cent, and girls achieved 48.40 per cent.

In Class 5, the result for government schools was 91.53 per cent, while for private schools it was 90.18 per cent. In Class 8, the result for government schools was 86.22 per cent, while for private schools it was 90.60 per cent.

This year, the class 5 pass percentage stood at 90.97 per cent, and class 8 pass percentage stood at 87.71 percent.

Last year's MP Board Class 5 Results saw Shahdol claiming the top position with an impressive pass rate of 90.2 percent, closely trailed by Jabalpur at 89.3 percent. Indore secured the third spot with an 89 percent pass rate, while Chambal and Narmadapur districts achieved pass rates of 87.8 percent and 84 percent, respectively.

In the last year's Class 5 examination, a total of 11,79,883 students sat for the exam, with 9,70,701 students passing it successfully. The pass percentage stood at 82.27 percent, indicating a decrease from the previous year's 90.01 percent. Among the students, girls achieved a pass percentage of 84.32 percent, while boys attained 80.34 percent.

This year, approximately 24 lakh students participated, comprising over 12 lakh from class 5 and more than 11 lakh from class 8.

The Madhya Pradesh Board is set to issue the class 5 and 8 results online today. Students eager to view their MP Board 5th and 8th results need to navigate to the official website. There, they will have to enter their Samagra ID/Roll Number along with the Captcha code.

According to the official announcement, the RSKMP will announce the MP board class 5 and 8 results today, April 23, 2024, at 11:30 am in a press conference. The scorecard link will be activated on 12:30 pm.
