NBEMS DNB Counselling 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the seat allotment results for DNB round 2 counselling for admission to DNB Post Diploma programmes. 225 candidates who qualify have been assigned seats in the second round of counselling.
Applicants must 'accept' and 'freeze' their given seats, as well as pay a non-refundable first-year course cost of Rs 1,25,000, before the deadline. After submitting the first-year course cost, the applicant's seat will be 'locked'.
If seats remain vacant, the NBEMS may carry out a mop-up round. Aspirants who receive seats in round 2 are not allowed to take part in the DNB mop-up counselling round.
The NBEMS seat assignment letter can be downloaded from the NBEMS website, counseling.nbe.edu.in. When reporting to the allotted college, applicants must bring the allotment order and other needed documents in genuine form. Those who fail to report to their assigned college by 5 p.m. on December 24 will forfeit their allotment.
Applicants who fail to pay the first-year course fee before the deadline will forfeit their entrance. These seats will be allocated for mop-up round therapy.
Furthermore, pupils who have paid the first-year course price but fail to join the institute or show all original documents by the deadline may lose their admission offers. They will also forfeit the fees they have paid. “Such candidates will not be eligible to participate in the mop-up round of the counselling if conducted by NBEMS,” it added.
