This new initiative provides study materials in Hindi, English, and other regional languages. Students need to register at sathee.prutor.ai to access these resources.
The 'Sathee' portal is an entirely online platform designed to assist students with their exam preparations. It offers free educational materials, including video lessons, mock tests, and expert guidance. Aimed at supporting students from diverse backgrounds, the platform provides its resources at no cost.
In line with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), the government seeks to ensure equal access to quality education through initiatives like the 'Sathee' portal. By offering free study materials, the portal aims to reduce educational disparities and create equal opportunities for students across the country. According to media reports, over 4.37 lakh students have already registered to take advantage of this initiative.
How The NCERT Sathee Portal Functions
Students who sign up on the 'Sathee' portal can choose their target exams, such as JEE, NEET, or SSC. Upon registration, they get access to live lessons, tutoring sessions, NCERT-based books, and video solutions. To reach students in areas with limited internet access, the programme is also broadcast via DTH channels.
A chatbot is available on the platform to assist students with their queries, offering easy access to study materials and guidance. The portal operates from 10 am to 6 pm daily, excluding Sundays and government holidays.
Key Features of the Sathee Portal
- The portal has launched a 45-day crash course to help students prepare for the JEE and other engineering exams. These resources are also available for national exams like NEET.
- Coaching is provided to all students, making it useful not only for JEE and NEET aspirants but also for those preparing for GATE, CAT, and UPSC.
- Students receive support from expert mentors and senior students from prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs, and AIIMS. Live interactive sessions offer valuable insights and assistance.
- The platform features video lectures in various regional languages, ensuring students from different linguistic backgrounds can benefit from the content, particularly on topics related to engineering, medicine, and SSC.
- An AI-powered self-assessment tool helps students track their progress and readiness for exams. It analyses learning patterns, highlights strengths and weaknesses, and offers personalised recommendations for improvement.
