NEET 2026 Registration Date:  The National Testing Agency will start the registrations for NEET UG 2026 anytime soon. Eligible candidates need to apply before the deadline to appear for the NEET UG 2026. The NEET UG notification is expected soon, detailing exam date, application form date, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus and counselling process. 

It is expected that this year, NTA will also introduce live photo capture for NEET UG 2026. For this, candidates need to log in to the candidate portal at neet.nta.nic.in and complete the process.

NEET 2026 Registration: Tentative Dates

NEET UG 2026 exam will be held on May 3, 2026. The official notification is expected soon, probably in the first week of February 2026. For the tentative schedule, candidates can check the following table:

NEET 2026 Registration: Steps To Apply

Once the registration link is active, candidates can complete their registration using the following steps: 

Step 1: Go to the NTA official website at neet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the “New Registration” option. Generate an application number and password.

Step 3: Log in using the above credentials and complete your application form with details like personal details, academic qualifications (Class 10 & 12), and choice of 13 exam mediums.

Step 4: Upload scanned copies of photographs, signatures, and category certificates. 

Step 5: Pay the application fee using the online payment modes.

Step 6: Submit the form after thoroughly checking the details. 

NEET 2026 Registration Fee

Candidates have to pay the registration fee as per their categories to register successfully for the NEET UG exam 2026. The fee must be paid using the online payment modes. The details are as follows:

NEET 2026 Registration: Mandatory Documents

Candidates must have the following documents before starting the registration process:

1. Aadhaar Card / Valid ID Proof:  Ensure your name matches your Class 10 certificate.

2. Passport Size Photograph:  Taken after January 1, 2026, with a white background and 80% face coverage.

3. Postcard Size Photo (4”×6”):  Must match the one pasted on the admit card.

4. Scanned Signature & Thumb Impressions:  Both left and right hand thumb impressions as per standard requirements.

5. Class 10 & 12 Certificates:  For date of birth and eligibility verification.

Who Is Eligible For NEET UG 2026?

To appear for the NEET UG entrance exam 2026, candidates must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Biotechnology and English subjects. For all candidates, the minimum age limit is 17 years. However, there is no upper age limit to appear for NEET UG 2026.
