NEET PG 2023 Round 2 Counselling: Today, August 19, the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will begin the selection-filling and choice-locking process for the NEET PG second round of counselling. On the official website, mcc.nic.in, candidates can choose the institutions and courses they want to enrol in.
The second round of NEET PG choice filling and locking will last till August 22. On August 18, the MCC opened registration for the second round of counselling. On August 25, the seat allocation for this round will be made public.
On August 26, applicants who will receive a seat in the NEET PG second round of counselling must upload their supporting documentation. From August 27 to September 4, they must report to the designated college or institute. The institutions will conduct student verification on September 5 and 6.

For the seats allocated under the all-India quota, the MCC will conduct two more rounds. On September 8, the third round of counselling will start, and then on September 28, the fourth. The MCC is managing the counselling process for 1,338 DNB CET seats, 9,22 PG Diploma seats, 13,649 Master of Surgery seats, and 26,168 Doctor of Medicine seats this year. 649 hospitals and 6,102 colleges together are taking part in the process.
Candidates' choices are automatically locked if they forget to do so after filling them out.
NEET PG 2023 Round 2 Counselling: Here's how to do choice filling
Candidates can use these methods to select the colleges and courses of their choice.
Step 1: Visit the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: Candidates have to log in themselves by using their credentials such as stream (medical/dental), roll number and password.
Step 3: After this, fill out the choices of course and college for NEET PG seat allotment.
Step 4: Candidates can add more new choices by clicking on the "+" button.
Step 5: To rearrange the order, candidates can drag the choice to the desired position.
Step 6: Now, click on "save and next" to lock the choices.
Step 7: Take a printout of filled choices for further reference.
