NEET PG 2024 Counselling:  The Medical Counselling Committee will release the NEET UG Counselling 2024 schedule soon. According to media reports, the UDFA has suggested that the counselling dates are expected to be released tomorrow, October 16, 2024. However, the official date and time are yet to be announced by the MCC. Once released, candidates will be able to check and download the NEET PG 2024 Counselling schedule at mcc.nic.in.

A total of three rounds of counselling will be held for admissions to postgraduate medical programmes. Candidates who have passed the NEET PG 2024 entrance exam are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The MCC conducts NEET PG counselling for admissions to state quota seats in government medical colleges and universities across the country.

To participate in NEET PG Counselling 2024, students must register for each counselling round. During the process, students are required to select and lock their preferred course and college for each round to be considered for seat allotment. The seat allotment result will be based on factors such as the number of available seats, the number of applicants, average marks scored, and the applicant's category. Candidates who are allotted seats must download their allotment letter and report to the assigned college for verification and the final admission process.

NEET PG Result 2024 Supreme Court Hearing

A group of 19 candidates has filed a petition with the Supreme Court, requesting transparency in the exam process. They have urged the court to instruct NBEMS to release the NEET PG answer key and provide details of the normalisation method applied. The next Supreme Court hearing on the matter is likely to be held on October 25.
