NEET PG Counselling 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the choice-filling procedure for NEET PG round 2 counselling 2024 today, December 5. The registration window for NEET PG counselling 2024 has been made accessible on the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in, for applicants who have passed the entrance exam and wish to participate in the second round of admission.
The MCC also anticipates publishing the NEET PG seat matrix for round two on the Internet. The seat matrix, which is arranged round-wise, enables applicants to select courses and colleges according to their availability.
According to the MCC NEET PG counselling timetable 2024, the option filling facility will be accessible until 11.55 p.m. on December 9. Candidates must also lock in their course choices in the order of choice before the deadline. The NEET PG choice locking process will begin at 4 p.m. on December 9 and end by midnight on the same day.
On December 12, the MCC will announce the seat assignment results based on the marks obtained by candidates in the NEET PG results, the availability of seats, the choices made, and previous years' cut-off trends.
Meanwhile, some NEET PG applicants have petitioned the Supreme Court and five high courts nationwide for transparency in the exam, mistakes in the merit list, the in-service quota issue, and double normalisation.
“Candidates are advised to confirm the fee structure/ any other additional fee from the colleges especially Deemed Universities before filling up choices for the same,” the MCC added. They will be able to select as many options as possible to maximize their probability of admission to a college.
The Supreme Court has postponed the NEET PG SC hearing for the sixth time. Applicants filed applications following the announcement of the results, requesting that the court order NBEMS to issue the NEET PG answer key, question paper, and raw marks achieved by all participants.
