The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on Tuesday released the result of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test- Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2023. Candidates can check their scorecards at– nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in.
MCC is expected to begin the counseling process on July 15, 2023. The state counseling authorities will hold their own counseling rounds for 50 per cent state quota seats in government colleges and 100 per cent seats in private medical colleges and minority institutes. However, admission to PG medical courses for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats will be done through MCC NEET PG Counselling 2023.
Earlier during a hearing on the NEET PG postponement the center informed the Supreme Court of India that NBE wants to commence NEET PG counseling starting on July 15. This was in response to petitioners who argued that counseling cannot begin before August 11, the deadline for internship completion, even if NEET PG is held in March. Candidates must note that this is the tentative date. The official date regarding the counseling process will be released soon on the official website.
“A separate handbook informing details of the counseling process and applicable reservation shall be released by the designated counseling authority for NEET-PG 2023,” reads the official notice.

General / EWS– 50 Percentile
General-PwBD– 45 Percentile
SC/ST/ OBC (Including PwBD of SC/ST/OBC)-- 40 Percentile
The seat allocation of NEET PG will be based on the ranking, colleges and courses selected during MCC counseling registration, the seats that are available, the reservation criteria, and several other factors. Candidates must note that to use same email Id for counselling registration form of designated counseling authority as used in NEET PG 2023 Application Form. The detail information regarding counselling will be released soon on the official website.
