NEET PG Result: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is set to announce the NEET PG 2025 results  on september 3 at its official website, nbe.edu.in. Conducted on August 3 across multiple centres nationwide, this entrance exam is a crucial step for medical graduates seeking admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses in India.

Like previous years, the results will be published in a downloadable PDF format, featuring candidates’ roll numbers, names, scores, and All India Ranks (AIR). The cut-off scores and qualifying percentiles will also be announced alongside the results. Based on past trends, results usually go live between 1 pm and 4 pm, although NBEMS has not confirmed the exact time for this year.

Following the results, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and respective state authorities will conduct the all-India and state-level counselling sessions. Along with the results, NBEMS may also release the final answer key.

How to Check NEET PG 2025 Results?

1. Visit to the nbe.edu.in or natboard.edu.in.

2. Click the “NEET PG Result 2025” link.

3. Enter your User ID and password.

4. Download the PDF result file.

5. Search for your roll number and verify your details.

6. Optionally, download your individual scorecard to check section-wise marks and AIR.

NEET PG 2025 Qualifying Criteria:

  • General Category: 50th percentile

  • SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile

  • PwD (General): 45th percentile

These cut-offs vary annually depending on exam difficulty and overall candidate performance.

Tie-Breaking Criteria (Step-by-Step):

If two or more candidates secure identical scores, the following steps will be applied in order:

  1. Fewer negative responses in the entire paper.

  2. Fewer negative responses in Section A.

  3. Fewer negative responses in Section B.

  4. Fewer negative responses in Section C.

  5. Fewer negative responses in Section D.

  6. Fewer negative responses in Section E.

  7. Higher aggregate percentage in MBBS professional exams (or FMGE for foreign graduates).

  8. If still tied, older date of birth will rank higher.

Post-Result Counselling Process:

Once results are declared, candidates must register for counselling and choose preferred institutions and courses. Document verification will follow, and seat allotment will be based on merit, choice, and category reservations.
