NEET SS Counselling 2023: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released a notification regarding the reduction in the qualifying percentage for the special round of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Super Speciality (NEET-SS) 2023 counselling. Candidates can check the notification at natboard.edu.in.
The NEET-SS 2023 exam was conducted on September 29th and 30th, and the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) declared the results on October 15, 2023.
"Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India vide letter No. U.12021/08/2023-MEC dated 20th January 2024 has allowed all the candidates who have completed their PG Degree as per NMC norms and have taken NEET-SS 2023 exam for the academic year 2023 would be "ELIGIBLE" to participate in the upcoming special round of NEET-SS Counselling," read the official notification.
The initial cutoff for NEET SS 2023 was established at the 50 percentile but was later decreased to the 20 percentile. The NMC has now proposed an additional reduction of the NEET SS 2023 cutoff to zero during the ongoing NEET SS Counselling 2023. Candidates must note that there has been no modification in the NEET-SS rank as declared on October 15, 2023.

NEET SS Counselling 2024: Document Required
- NEET SS seat allotment letter 2023 issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)
- NEET SS 2023 admit card
- NEET SS 2023 Result
- Certificate of permanent/provisional registration issued by the National Medical Commission/ National Board of Examinations/State Medical Council.
- Government based ID proof such as PAN card, Aadhar card, voter ID card, driver’s license, or passport
- Birth certificate or high school diploma degree to verify date of birth.
- MS/MD/ DNB degree certificate in the concerned speciality
- MBBS degree certificate
