NEET MBBS College List: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the NEET UG result 2026 on July 16, 2026. Over 11 lakh students have qualified, and 19 have scored 700 marks out of 720. Now, the shortlisted candidates are awaiting the counselling schedule for admission to MBBS colleges across the country. The counselling will be held through a centralized process categorised into State and All India Quota. 15% of AIQ is managed by the MCC, while 85% of seats are under the State Council Authorities. With the revised seat matrix, more than 1.36 lakh seats are now available over 600 medical colleges across the country. These colleges are categorized into top-tier national institutions, state-run government setups, and private or deemed universities.

NEET Counselling To Begin Soon
NEET counselling will be held in multiple rounds to allot seats across medical and dental colleges. It is conducted separately for MCC and State Counselling Authorities with different seat allocations.
15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
85% State Quota seats by the respective State Counselling Authorities.
Apart from AIQ seats, the Medical Counselling Committee also administers seat allocation for the following universities:

Central Universities
Deemed Universities
ESIC Medical Colleges
AFMC (Screening process applicable)
Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for both the AIQ and State Quota can participate in both counselling sessions.
