JE Education Desk: Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, stated on Tuesday (August 1) said that composite school complexes should be built by promptly upgrading Atal Vidyalayas, PM Shri Vidyalayas, and Mukhyamantri Abhyuday Vidyalayas across the state in compliance with the National Education Policy (NEP).
According to him, these schools should be run by the NEP 2020's components and children should participate in sports in addition to receiving a formal education. According to an official statement, Adityanath met with representatives of the departments of basic, secondary, and higher education to discuss the execution of the National Education Policy.
He recommended holding workshops in every area to inform teachers about the NEP. According to him, a state curriculum framework should be developed that includes historical information, local customs, and indigenous knowledge. He suggested that in addition to offering career counselling, students should be introduced to vocational courses through "learning by doing."
The chief minister added that it was also important to construct digital libraries and provide comprehensive report cards for kids. He added that female pupils should receive self-defence instruction.
