NEST 2024 Registration: The registration period for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) 2024 will end tomorrow, May 31, at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar. On June 30, 2024, there will be an exam for NEST.
By going to the official website, nextexam.in, candidates can complete the NEST 2024 application form. The NEST 2024 admission card will be distributed by the institute on June 15. On July 10, the 2024 NEST outcome will be announced.
Male applicants from the general and other backward classes (OBC) categories must pay an application fee of Rs 1,400 to be considered for NEST 2024. The application fee is Rs 700 for candidates who fall under the categories of scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and Divyangjan (physically challenged), as well as for all female candidates.
A total of 200 places for an integrated Master of Science (MSc) degree in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics will be filled through the NEST 2024 test.

NEST 2024: Eligibility criteria
Before completing the application, candidates who wish to participate in the NEST 2024 should review the eligibility requirements. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements listed below:
- Candidates in the general or OBC categories must have been born on or after August 1, 2003. Candidates in the reserved category are eligible for a maximum 5-year relaxation.
- Candidates must have finished Class 12 with required coursework in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology.
- Applicants from the reserved category must have received at least a 55% in their Class 12 test, while candidates from the general or other backward classes (OBC) category must have passed with at least a 60% aggregate.
