Gujarat Primary Schools to Remain Closed for 21 Days

The circular says the vacation dates are set in line with the academic activity calendar issued by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. All recognised primary schools in the state will observe the break during this period, and all will begin the second term on November 26.

Primary and Secondary School Dates to Be Uniform

District education officers and district primary education officers have been directed to coordinate and announce the vacation dates so that primary and secondary school students get the same holiday schedule. Officials have also been asked to inform government and grant-in-aid teacher training institutes, pre-primary teacher training institutes, self-financed PTC colleges and schools under their jurisdiction about the schedule.
