NID DAT Registration 2027: Applications Begin For BDes, MDes Admissions, Check Key Dates And Fee Details Here

NID DAT Registration 2027: The National Institute of Design (NID) has started the online registration process for the NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2027. Candidates seeking admission to BDes and MDes courses at various design institutions must register online at admissions.nid.edu till November 30, 2026.  The authorities may also open the application correction window, allowing candidates to edit the submitted details.  

NID has scheduled DAT Prelims for December 20, 2026. Those who qualify will appear for the NID DAT Mains Examination 2027.

NID DAT Application Form 2027: Important Dates

NID DAT prelims 2027 is scheduled for December 20, 2026. The admit cards are expected to be out on December 10 from 4 PM onwards. Candidates can check the following table for NID DAT dates and accordingly prepare for the exam.

How To Fill NID DAT Application Form 2027?

Follow the steps below to register online for the NID DAT 2027 before the deadline.

Step 1: Go to the official website at admissions.nid.edu.

Step 2: After reading the admission handbook, select the registration link.

Step 3: Enter details such as programme, nationality, category, email ID, and mobile number to complete the one-time verification process.

Step 4: Using the above credentials, complete your application form with mandatory fields. 

Step 5: Upload photograph, signature, and applicable category certificates in the prescribed format.

Step 6: Pay the application fee via online payment gateways and submit the application form. 

NID DAT Application Fee 2027

Candidates applying for admission to BDes and five-year Integrated M.Des programmes have to pay the registration fee based on their categories. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable and must be paid during the registration process using online payment gateways. Moreover, for the regular MDes course at NID Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, and Gandhinagar, the application fee is charged separately for each discipline.
