UPSC NDA, CDS 2 Exam 2026: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will start metro services at 6 AM on September 13, 2026, to help candidates in their travel for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Combined Defence Services (CDS) examinations. The early start has been facilitated to help candidates reach the examination venue on time for the morning shift. The decision has been made after candidates raised concerns over the early availability of metro services amid the BRICS summit to reach the examination venue in time for the UPSC NDA and CDS 2 morning shift. Taking note of the concern, the Delhi Traffic Police coordinated with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and released a separate schedule to assist candidates in reaching their examination venue for the NDA and CDS 2 exam tomorrow.
Early Metro Services Tomorrow For UPSC NDA, CDS 2 Exam 2026
The metro lines will start at 6 AM tomorrow on all lines. Students appearing for the UPSC NDA, CDS 2 Exam 2026 on September 13 can now plan their journey accordingly to reach the exam centre on time. DMRC posted on X, “Metro train services will commence at 06:00 AM on all lines on Sunday, 13th September 2026”. The move came after CDS aspirants raised questions over reaching the examination venue on time on September 13 amid the traffic restrictions for the 18th BRICS Summit.
NDA and CDS 2 Exam Shift Timings
The Common Defence Services 2 examination 2026 will be held across three shifts.

The National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) 2026 will be conducted across two shifts as mentioned below.

Candidates Must Reach Exam Venue Early
For the NDA and CDS 2 examination tomorrow, entry will be closed 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam. Candidates who have not yet downloaded the admit card must do so from the official portal. They must carry a printed copy of the e-admit card along with a government-issued ID to the exam centre for verification.
