NID DAT 2025 Prelims: The National Institute of Design (NID) will administer the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) 2025 preliminary exam tomorrow, January 5, 2025, for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate design programs offered by the design institutes.

The NID DAT 2025 preliminary exam will be administered in pen and paper mode in a single shift at several examination centres throughout India. Applicants who pass the preliminary test can sit for the NID DAT Mains 2025.

The NID DAT Prelims 2025 question paper for BDes will be divided into two sections: Section A and Section B. It will contain 31 questions, compared to 37 for the MDes question paper.

For BDes, the marks acquired by applicants in the NID DAT 2025 Prelims test will be weighted at 40% for the creation of the final merit list. For MDes, the preliminary test is weighted at 30%.
