NIMCET Counselling 2024: The seat allocation results for the second round of the NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2024 counselling have been released by the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur on July 13, 2024. The NIMCET 2024 round 2 seat allocation result is available for download on the organization's official website, nimcet.admissions.nic.in, for candidates who took part in the counselling process.

Aspirants can download the NIMCET 2024 seat allotment result by entering their registration number and date of birth.

Those selected in round 2 counselling must complete online reporting and pay a half admission fee between July 15 and 17.

NIMCET Counselling 2024: What are the factors involved?

- Total number of seats available: The amount of seats available at eligible NITs determines the cut-off. More seats may result in a lower cutoff, and vice versa.

- Candidate categories: There are different cutoffs for several categories, including General, OBC, SC, and ST. Generally speaking, reserved groups have lower cutoffs than the General category.

- Candidate performance: The exam applicants' overall performance is a major factor in figuring out the cutoff. The threshold is typically higher for applicants who perform well on average.

- Reservation policies: Cutoff marks are also impacted by policies surrounding reservations for groups such as SC, ST, OBC, and PwD.
