NITI Aayog’s Work for Viksit Bharat: The NITI Aayog has launched a portal for young professionals, this portal aimed at recruiting professionals from multiple sectors and fields, including economics, big data, infrastructure, IT, telecom, climate change, and more. The newly launched Work for Viksit Bharat portal is easily accessible  at workforbharat.niti.gov.in, offering various opportunities to individuals for several roles, from young professionals to senior level consultants.

Those candidates who are interested and are eligible can register themselves on the official website at workforbharat.niti.gov.in. According to an official statement shared by the NITI Aayog, this initiative is launched to bring skilled individuals into the policymaking and development ecosystem so that they can contribute directly to the India’s growth strategy under the Viksit Bharat vision. Interested candidates can select their preferred areas of work, and apply to be part of several development projects.

What is the ‘Work for Viksit Bharat’ portal?

According to the official website, the ‘Work for Viksit Bharat’ portal provides an easy and user-friendly interface, real-time notifications, and recruitment or hiring analytics for young professionals, thereby providing a better yet effective experience for both the eligible candidates and the hiring recruiters. This newly launched portal also incorporates various role-based access controls for a secure and productive recruitment management, the website further mentioned in a statement. 

‘Work for Viksit Bharat’: Positions and Eligibility

1. Young Professional: The role of Young Professionals will include helping and assisting the organisation in policy research, data analysis, as well as program implementation. As a Young Professional, you must be required to bring fresh perspectives, ideas and innovative solutions to handle key national development challenges, NITI Aayog have mentioned.

 Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must attain the eligibility criteria and must have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject OR BE/B.Tech/2-years PG Diploma in Management/MBBS/LLB/CA/ICWA/possessing any professional degree earned after completing the study of 4 years or more acquired after standard 10th + 2.

1. Upper age limit: 32 years

2. Minimum experience: 1 year atleast

3. Remuneration, salary expectation (per month): ₹70,000

2. Consultant Grade 1: Consultant Grade 1 will be those young professionals and individuals who “offer specialsed expertise in policy design, strategic planning, and project management.” to the department.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must attain the eligibility criteria such as they must have a  Master’s degree in any relevant subject OR BE/B.Tech/2-years PG Diploma in Management/MBBS/LLB/CA/ICWA/possessing any professional degree earned after finishing the study of 4 years or more acquired after 10th + 2.

1. Upper age limit: 45 years

2. Minimum experience: 3 -8 years atleast 

3. Remuneration, salary expectations (per month): ₹80,000 - ₹1,45,000

3. Consultant Grade 2: Consultant Grade 2 professionals will provide advanced technical expertise in policy analysis, research, and implementation. They will also contribute to high-level strategic initiatives, supporting the organization’s mission for national development.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must have a Master’s degree in any of th relevant subject OR BE/B.Tech/2-years PG Diploma in Management/MBBS/LLB/CA/ICWA/possessing any professional degree earned after completing the study of 4 years or more acquired after 10th + 2.

b) Upper age limit: 50 years

c) Minimum experience: 8 - 15 years

d) Remuneration, salary expectations (per month): ₹1,45,000 – ₹2,65,000

4. Senior Consultant: As a Senior Consultants, candidates must have the ability to offer strategic leadership in the formation of different policies, program evaluation, and project execution. In addition, they should offer guidance to drive critical initiatives and support the nation’s development.

 Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must have a Master’s degree in relevant subject OR BE/B.Tech/2-years PG Diploma in Management/MBBS/LLB/CA/ICWA/possessing any professional degree.

1. Upper age limit: 62 years

2. Minimum experience: More than 15 years

3. Remuneration, salary expectations (per month): ₹2,65,000 – ₹3,30,000.
