NTA Tender Application: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited bids from eligible printing agencies for the high-security printing of confidential examination materials. Interested firms can submit their applications through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal until 7 pm on August 20, 2026.

In a post on its official X handle, the NTA said it is seeking experienced printing agencies capable of handling secure printing assignments for national-level examinations while maintaining strict confidentiality and quality standards.

 

NTA Tender For Printing Firms: Scope Of Work

The selected agency will be responsible for the end-to-end printing process, including:

-Designing and printing confidential examination materials

-Barcode and QR code printing

-Numbering and binding

-Packaging and secure transportation

-Safe delivery of examination documents

The NTA has emphasized that all work must be carried out under stringent security protocols to ensure the confidentiality of examination-related documents.

NTA Tender For Printing Firms: Contract Duration

According to the tender notice, the contract will be awarded for an initial period of two years. Based on satisfactory performance, it may be extended for two additional one-year terms.

What Is The Eligibility Criteria?

Printing agencies applying for the tender must:

-Be legally registered in India.

-Possess valid PAN, GST, EPF, ESI, and ISO 9001:2015 certification.

-Have at least five years of experience in professional printing services.

-Have completed similar high-security printing work for government departments, universities, examination bodies, or educational institutions during the past seven years.

-Have an average annual turnover of at least Rs 5 crore in the previous three financial years.

-Not have been blacklisted by any government organisation.

Selection Process

The NTA said the agency will be selected through the Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) process, where technical competence and financial bids will both be considered, with greater emphasis on technical capability.

The agency has also mandated that all confidential printing work be conducted in secure facilities equipped with CCTV surveillance, biometric access control, and continuous monitoring. Interested agencies are advised to carefully review the complete tender document available on the GeM portal and the NTA website before submitting their bids.
