NTET Registration 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date of the registration for the National Teachers Eligibility Test (NTET). Now the last date to apply will be October 22, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates who have not applied yet can register online for the NTET 2024 at ntet.ntaonline.in or exams.nta.ac.in/NTET.

The initial deadline to submit the application form was October 14, 2024. The last date for successful fee payment through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI will be October 23, 2024. Corrections to the application form can be made on the website from October 24 to 25, 2024.

NTET 2024: Application fees

The application fee for general category candidates will be Rs 4000, while it is Rs 3500 for General-EWS and OBC-(NCL) category candidates. For SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender candidates, the fee will be Rs 3000.

NTET 2024: Exam Pattern

The examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, lasting 120 minutes. It will consist of 100 questions, with a maximum score of 100 marks. The question paper will be available in both English and Hindi.

Validity of the NTET

The Teachers' Eligibility Certificate will be valid for ten years from the date of qualifying the National Teachers' Eligibility Test for the Indian System of Medicine/Homoeopathy. Candidates who do not enter the teaching profession within this ten-year period, or those who have a gap of ten years or more in their teaching career, must requalify by retaking the National Teachers' Eligibility Test for the Indian System of Medicine/Homoeopathy in order to join or return to the teaching profession.

Step 2: Click on the link NTET 2024 registration on the homepage

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen and candidates will have to register with the required details

Step 4: Upload the required documents and application fees
