School Closed News: In response to the violence that erupted during a religious procession in Nuh, where a mob of miscreants pelted stones and set cars on fire, the Haryana government took a precautionary measure and announced the closure of all schools and colleges in Gurugram and Faridabad on Tuesday, August 1.
The office of the District Magistrate released an order saying,“All educational institutions including schools, colleges, and coaching centers will remain closed on Tuesday to avoid any untoward incidents. We urge all educational institutions to strictly adhere to these orders.”

On Monday evening, in Haryana's Nuh district, clashes broke out between two groups during a religious procession by the Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, resulting in the tragic loss of two home guards' lives and leaving over 200 people injured. The violent confrontation involved the pelting of stones and the torching of dozens of vehicles.

In response to the escalating tensions and violence, the police, based on eyewitness accounts, reported that most of the individuals involved in the clashes were aged between 18 to 24 years. Responding to the situation, forces from neighboring police stations were mobilised and deployed in the area to contain the unrest. As a measure to maintain law and order, prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) have been imposed in seven districts, including Nuh and Gurugram. Mobile internet services have been suspended in Nuh, Faridabad, and Palwal districts until Wednesday.
