Odisha NEET PG Counselling 2024: What's next?
1. Freeze: The contender confirms and locks the given seat, indicating that they are satisfied with it. The applicant will not be selected for subsequent rounds of counselling or any advancement. The seat is final.
2. Float: An applicant accepts the assigned seat but remains eligible for an upgrade to a better seat in subsequent rounds. If a better seat becomes accessible in the subsequent round, the candidate will be promoted. If no better seats are available, they will keep their existing seat.
3. Slide: The applicant accepts the assigned seat but seeks to be examined for an upgrade within the same institution (such as a different course or speciality). If a better course or speciality becomes accessible within the same college or institute in the subsequent round, the selected candidate will be promoted to that seat.
