PPU LLB Admission: Patliputra University (PPU) has announced the commencement of its admission process for five-year BA-LLB and three-year LLB courses, beginning Wednesday, August 7. The notification marks an important opportunity for aspiring law students across Bihar to secure admission in these prestigious programs through a merit-based selection system.

The university has set a tight timeline for the admission process, with applications closing on August 18 and the final merit list scheduled for publication on August 21. Students will have until August 25 to complete their admission formalities, making it crucial for candidates to prepare their documents and applications promptly to avoid missing these critical deadlines.

Eligibility and Fee Structure:

For the five-year BA-LLB program, candidates must have successfully completed their intermediate examination from a recognized board. The three-year LLB course requires applicants to hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Application fees are categorized based on reservation status: Rs 1,500 for General, BC-1, and BC-2 category students, while SC and ST candidates need to pay Rs 1,000.

Reservation and Selection Process:

Admission procedures will strictly follow Bihar government reservation guidelines. The merit list preparation will consider marks obtained in intermediate examinations for BA-LLB candidates and graduation scores for LLB applicants, combined with applicable reservation categories. The university administration has issued a stern warning that submission of fraudulent caste certificates will result in application rejection without fee refund.

Key Dates and Application Timeline:

The admission schedule is precisely structured with online applications opening August 7 and closing August 18. Candidates can make corrections to their application forms until August 19. The merit list publication on August 21 will be followed by a four-day admission window concluding August 25, requiring swift action from selected candidates.
