Punjab NEET PG Round 2 Counselling 2024: Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, has released the Punjab NEET PG round 2 counselling timetable 2024 for admission to MD, MS, and other postgraduate medical courses. The tentative seat matrix for the second phase of Punjab NEET PG counselling 2024 will be made available on the official website, bfuhs.ac.in, on December 9.

Aspirants who were given seats in round 1 counselling will be able to resign before December 14 via the 'free exit' option.

They will need to file a request to the principal of the relevant medical college to renounce their seats. After the free exit facility is closed, the round 2 vacancy will be immediately updated. The registration and fee payment procedure will begin on December 9 and continue until December 12.

Applicants applying to government medical colleges must pay a security deposit of Rs 25,000; however, those belonging to the scheduled caste (SC) or backward classes (BC) will only have to pay Rs 10,000. If an applicant wants to apply to a private medical college or both government and private medical colleges, they must pay a deposit of Rs 2 lakh.

The university further asked applicants enrolling under the Sikh and Christian minority quotas to report to their respective minority institutions - SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences in Amritsar and Christian Minority College in Ludhiana - for verification of minority identity. However, those who have already had their minority status certified do not need to report again.
