Railway Jobs 2025: The Railway Recruitment Cell, Eastern Railway (RRC/ER) has recently  released the notification for the Sports Quota Recruitment 2025 on their website. Interested candidates can apply for the job position in Indian Railways by visiting the website. Under this recruitment drive conducted by the Railway, a total of 50 vacancies in Group C and Group D will be filled.

The students must note that the online application process for the Railway Jobs will be commenced on September 10, 2025 (10:00 AM) and will conclude on October 9, 2025 (6:00 PM). Interested candidates can apply through the official website at rrcer.org. As per the official notification, field trials will be tentatively held from December 2025- January 2026.

Railway Jobs 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Those students who are applying for the Railway Jobs 2025 must attain these educational qualifications.

1.Level 4/5: Students must have done graduation in any discipline from a recognised and well-known university.

2. Level 2/3: Students must have completed class 12th or equivalent OR 10th with ITI/Apprenticeship (NCVT/SCVT/NAC).

3. Level 1: Students must have compelled class 10th or equivalent / ITI / NAC.

Age Limit: The students must attain the age limit criteria that is 18 to 25 years (as of January 1, 2025 to be eligible for applying for the Railways Jobs 2025.

Sports Eligibility: The candidates must have represented India in Olympics/World Championships/Asian Games/Commonwealth Games, or secured top ranks in University-level competitions.

Railway Jobs: Application Fee

1. For those candidates who belong to the General/OBC/EWS (Male) will be required to pay Rs 500 (Rs 400 refunded after appearing in trial)

2. For those candidates who belong to the SC/ST/Women/Minorities/EWS (Others) will be required to pay Rs 250 (refunded after trial)

Selection Process:

The selection process for the recruitment of the Railway Jobs 2025 will include these stages:

1.Sports Trial: This will include skills, fitness, coach's observation worth 40 marks.

2. Assessment of Sports Achievements worth 50 marks.

3. Document Verification will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates.

4. Medical Examination will take place for the selected candidates further.

Steps to apply for Railway Jobs 2025: 

Step 1. Students must visit the official website of the Railway Recruitment Cell, rrcer.org.

Step 2. There will be a link for the Eastern Railway Recruitment Against Sports Quota 2025 on the homepage.

Step 3. A new window will open on the screen where students have to register as a new user and fill in required details.

Step 4. Students must upload scanned documents, photographs, and signatures to apply for the recruitment.

Step 5. After filling all the details, pay the application fee and submit the registration form.

Step 6. Download the application form and print out the registration form for future reference.
